Just add bacon

I’ve gotten a bit burned out on salads, but I had some lettuce that was just begging to be eaten. Of course, the answer to my problem was bacon.

Isn’t it always?

I fried up three strips of deliciousness, chopped ‘em and threw ’em right on my giant salad of Romaine, tomato, grated carrot, walnuts and olive oil. So good!

ALSO:

My goal was to slowly walk a mile around my neighborhood, and I done did it!!!

I never thought I’d be so excited about completing one mile, let alone one mile at a 22-minute/mile pace, but I’m absolutely thrilled to be able to get around on my own two feet again.

Here I am, starting all over. We all start somewhere.

Just taking it one step at a time.
