Well, it definitely wasn’t my day. Just felt tired from about mile 6 and considered turning off for the half, but stayed on the full course because #stubborn . Aaron met me at mile 21 on his bike and rode the rest of the way with me; couldn’t have done it without him! Finished somewhere in the 4:30s or 4:40s. Not terrible considering I was on my hands & knees dry heaving behind a tree at mile 23. (I actually puked just outside of Hayward after finishing & chugging chocolate milk. #milkwasabadchoice ) Pic is me at mile 26, about to reach Hayward. Cool experience to finish there, regardless of how my race went!
