There’s something about long runs on Saturdays and spinning on Sundays that makes my legs want to go fast on Mondays.

The strange thing about this run is that I didn’t feel like I was going super-fast. I tried not to look at my watch very much and just settle into a comfortable pace while also pushing myself a bit, and when I did look down at my watch, I was shocked to see that my pace was in the 8:30s and 8:40s.

I guess the way to become a faster runner is to run to the end of your comfort zone, and then run some more. One day you’ll find yourself cruising along at a pace that used to make you feel like death, and it. will. feel. awesome.

P.S. I keep forgetting to mention that I created a Wedding page, where I’ll post links to all the details as Aaron and I plan our wedding! There’s not much on it now but, ohhh, just wait.
