This is Aaron’s life next Saturday.
I’ll be zooming down on the train to meet him at the finish line. You know, the way SANE people get to Portland.

And here’s moi. Happy dress-up Friday!

We have to dress up for work today because a client will be in the office.
Look how cute Aaron is!!!
Oh, Shannon. I already you were a sweetheart, but this is just the nicest message!
Thank you so much for your kind words about In the silence, I notice. I’m glad to hear that you’re going to try running without music – let me know how it goes!
It took me a while to get used to it, but I’d never go back.
P.S. I will see you in VEGAS! Wooo!

I played my first softball game since last summer on Tuesday night. I’d been skipping games to train for the half. The team is undefeated, baby!!
Let me tell you, today I feel like I’ve been hit by a truck. Arms are sore, shoulders are sore, random body parts that have never been sore are sore.
But guess what? That all means I hit the damn ball every time I batted. Wooo-hooo!
Aaron hit a home run. I was so proud!
I’m not afraid of what I can’t do. I’m almost afraid of what I can do.

This is sick.

Today on Answering Oliver, I wrote about why I run without music: In the silence, I notice
The photo above is one I took of the trail I run on all the time. The light is the evening sun reflecting off the water. Pretty, huh?

OK, I know I already did my GPOYW and most of you won’t care about this post, but OH MY GOSH I am proud of this top that I wore today because IT’S NOT A T-SHIRT.
And there are ruffles and embroidery, too! Whaaaaat??
AND it was on sale at Banana Republic for $19, down from $80.
*golf claps*

GPOYW: Half-marathon finisher edition.
This was about a minute after the dying-on-the-fence thing, so I couldn’t really muster a smile.
I borrowed some Blue Steel from thereluctantrunner and rolled a little gangster lean instead.

I would have bought this dress if I had a nice wedding to go to or something. SOMEBODY INVITE ME TO YOUR WEDDING.
Although looking at it again, the design looks a bit… uhh… anatomical?
Hmm, Banana Republic. Gorgeous dress; innnteresting pattern.
