And speaking of that half marathon I did a few weeks ago, here’s the video about it that I finally got around to finishing (man, the things I accomplish when I’m sick!).

Aaron took a bunch of video for the American Cancer Society and I snagged some of it to throw together with my pre-race freakouts. Yes, I freak out as much as everyone else does before a race, if not more! Evidence = above.

Race footage and photos by Aaron; editing by me; song (“Beautiful Life”) and brief appearance by Everclear; purple “Strongest, Fastest” t-shirt by wbaw.

Wheeeeeee!

It was a pleasure for Aaron and me to kick off this Sunday morning with nearly two hours of chatting over coffee with Abel, of 6N6 Challenge fame, who is in town to visit friends and run Warrior Dash.

If you’re unfamiliar with Abel, he’s raised more than $15,000 for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society by running six marathons in six months. Definitely check out his blog and his awesome shop, and donate to his fundraising efforts if you feel so inclined.

And if you ARE familiar with Abel, then yes, he IS as nice and awesome in real life as you would imagine!

Thanks, Abel, for taking the time to meet up! Good luck with Warrior Dash!

I keep almost forgetting that tomorrow is WARRIOR DASH!

Abel is doing the same one, but on Sunday. Therefore, I’m going to try to scare the crap out of him with tales of horror.

Thanks to Seattle’s non-existent summer, it’ll be cloudy, in the low 60s and possibly raining during my 11:30 wave. My goal is to get as muddy as humanly possible. Photo evidence will be provided.

I imagine Aaron and I will end up looking something like this, although, you know… brown.
