Y’all come back in July, you hear?

YOU GUYS.

First of all, “Oh heyyyyy!” to my new followers! You guys rock. I will be rewarding you VERY soon with an awesome video about the Do Life: Seattle meetup.

I spent all morning editing it and it’s currently uploading to the Internets. Since it’s HD, it takes a while. I’ll post it on Tumblr ASAP.

I don’t wanna toot my own horn about how epic this video is, but I will toot Aaron Pass’s horn because I ended up using all of his shots and he did some incredible work. It doesn’t hurt that he’s a pro photographer, can crush a 5K in 22 minutes, does a killer Ron Burgundy impression (wait for the video…) and is really, really, ridiculously good-looking.

If you’re in the Seattle area and need some photos taken – engagement, wedding, maternity, senior portraits or just some awesome shots of you running (see below) – holler at aaronpass@gmail com. Or just follow him because he’s ridiculously good-looking.

Aaron makes Ben look good: Part II. (See Part I here.)

Get excited for the video!!

I got me a Davis sandwich!

Such a fun Do Life meetup this morning. It was a little cold and rainy, but the 30 or so people laughing, running and swapping stories more than made up for the weather.

Aaron and I got some awesome photos and video clips! I’m gonna go ahead and say the Do Life video we’re gonna put together will. be. sick.

Let’s go!

YESSSS! I’ve convinced Aaron to do Jillian Michaels’ 40-minute No More Trouble Zones DVD with me. He’s on his way over and has no idea what he’s in for.

Time to get rid of the muffin top, saddle bags and arm jiggle!

Wait a sec… he doesn’t have any of that. Jerk.

Oh well, it’ll be a good workout anyway!

A running list

1) I ordered a foam roller from Amazon last night. When I have to choose between running outside or running on the treadmill at the gym, the deciding factor lately has been being able to use a foam roller when I go to the gym. I’m hating the treadmill, though. My very own foam roller will release me into the wild!

2) I’ve been having shin pain, which I haven’t had since I first started getting into running. I believe I need new shoes – I’ve been running on my current ones for about a year. Perhaps this will happen this weekend? Excitement.

3) I’m flirting with joining the American Cancer Society’s DetermiNation team to train and fundraise for the Seattle Rock ‘n’ Roll Half Marathon (June 25). I’m already signed up for the race, but having a training group and putting in some fundraising effort along with the physical effort could be really great. Currently swapping emails with the Seattle coach to get more info.

4) This weekend, Aaron and I are going to run the route of my April 10K to get a feel for hills, weird turns, etc. This’ll be the first time I’ve done this for a race. I feel Smart.

That’s all for now! Hope everyone has a kickass start to the weekend!
