I was going to post a bunch of sunny, happy photos of the last few days in Melbourne. Then I got a very sad email — my uncle lost his battle with cancer.
Here, on the other side of the world, I want more than anything to be able to hug my mom. My heart hurts.
Update: Thank you for the kind words. Rob wins for explaining how to Skype call my mom, and now I’m just Skype calling/chatting with everyone I miss back home and feeling much, much better.
