Oh yes I did.
My rear windshield is that shiny and reflective because Aaron washed and detailed my car as a surprise a few weekends ago.
The man DETAILED my MINIVAN. That’s love.

Fun fact: I had none of these this time last year.
Funny how things change!

The Seattle meetup is sneaking up on me! I’ll be there. Pretty sure Aaron will be there. Who else is coming?
First trip to Los Angeles and rolling traffic at it.
So excited to do the West Coast tour.
Come party and run and eat and make fun of Pa with me.

GPOYW: “If You Buy The Dress, The Occasion Will Arise” edition.
This spangled creation can be yours for like $250 from Banana Republic! I tried it on just for fun/sheer ridiculosity.
Someone should totally rock this in Vegas. (Not it.)

Word. Aaron and I will be there, running our first damn marathon.
wbaw:
Figured everyone needs a reminder!
also, I’m trying to compile a list of all the people that are going! last I checked there were 20+ fitblrs that were going to be there, from all over the world! (literally)
Are you attending?
You guys, something is wrong with Aaron.
After completing the 204-mile Seattle to Portland bike ride two weekends ago and Warrior Dash this past weekend, he has this strange feeling he just can’t shake.

It’s an uneasy feeling… a restlessness… he can’t sit still.
It turns out that he has a fever, and the only cure is SWIM-BIKE-RUN.
Symptoms include tracking tri bikes on Ebay, watching Ironman videos on YouTube and signing up for races less than a week before raceday.
Worst of all, I hear it’s contagious.
Hopefully he’ll be cured this Sunday. It’s tough to say.
You never know until you TRI!
I’m posting this video again for anyone who may have missed it yesterday – My First Half Marathon: Rock ‘n’ Roll Seattle
And also because I just got this really awesome message:
switchinggears asked you:
I totally cried when I watched your recap video. You’ve inspired me to become a runner ever since I started following you. Keep up the phenomonal work!
Thank you!!! I like making people totally cry! In a good way, of course.
And speaking of that half marathon I did a few weeks ago, here’s the video about it that I finally got around to finishing (man, the things I accomplish when I’m sick!).
Aaron took a bunch of video for the American Cancer Society and I snagged some of it to throw together with my pre-race freakouts. Yes, I freak out as much as everyone else does before a race, if not more! Evidence = above.
Race footage and photos by Aaron; editing by me; song (“Beautiful Life”) and brief appearance by Everclear; purple “Strongest, Fastest” t-shirt by wbaw.
Wheeeeeee!

I signed up for the Seattle Rock ‘n’ Roll Half (recap) when I was in the midst of a “pretty crappy sinus/mucas-y sickness” back in November 2010, so I thought it was only fitting that I sign up for my next half when the last thing I feel like doing in the whole entire world is running.
We’re going sub 2 hours on this one, baby. You heard it here first.

And today I stay home and feel miserable. The World’s Best Boyfriend dropped this off for me on his way to work.
Much needed. I know the term is “upset” stomach, but it feels like mine is pissed.
